This is a review for their Holiday dinner on New Year's Eve. We had dinner at 9:30pm. Started with salad and dinner roll. Entree served was a surf & turf - lobster tail - served warm & steak was very tender. Dessert was very rich which was ok with black coffee. First time at Choices. Looking forward to when their buffet re-opens. Will definitely be back to try it.

When I first discovered this buffet at Pala Casino, I would of rated this buffet the best, West of the Mississippi. So it's been a long time since I've been here, only because the slots at this casino are tight, so we don't come here to gamble. So today's buffet was good, better than most of the other buffets in Southern California, but it just didn't wow us like before. They didn't have as many choices to choose from, like before, some of the steaks were sort of tough, hamburgers were still raw inside. The Mexican food section was just OK, nothing special at the Italian & Chinese section, pizza was still pretty good though. Staffers were nice and attentive, dining area was clean. With the cooking glitches and lack of the wow factor, this place still above average, but falls short of a perfect 5 stars rating, 4 stars from me. Maybe I would be happier if the slots would payout more!!

When it comes to prime buffet, around Temecula Valley, Pechanga and Pala Casinos come into mind. I had done a review for Pechanga a while ago and would like to give the Choice Buffet in Pala a review of our recent dining experience. Both are worth the 4-stars. We've been here numerous times and have eaten during brunch, lunch and dinner. Many Temeculans would resort to a closer place to eat. Pala being positioned about a few miles away from the city, a lot of people do not mind taking a drive to enjoy some of the amenities and obvious differences that this place has to offer. The choices buffet dining area is a lot bigger and can fit more people. For those with discriminating and sophisticated taste, the Choice is the obvious choice. The seats are covered with leather and the tables are highly glossed with acid finished lacquer. The vicinity is well-lit using box chandeliers to include lightly tinted wide windows on the side walls that surely added elegance to the atmosphere. There are various food selections that can satisfy anyone's appetite. There are the salad aisle and food courts that offer Mexican, Italian, American, Asian and assorted foods. My all-time favorite is their king crab legs, which I think are bigger and juicier than the competition. We also love coming down here on Thursdays during their lobster nights. Albeit the price is considerably higher compared to the other days, the dining experience is certainly unmatched. The offerings of whole lobsters have no restrictions. They kept coming and we kept receiving. They even had a cut up lobster tails that were readily available for the picking as an addition to the lobster on the plate. The grilled prime rib steak was also an excellent pair for the seafood. The dessert section for the sweet lovers, put the buffet rivals around town to shame with their huge and well-organized confectioneries. There are assorted pastries, mousse cups, crepes, ice creams and chocolate fondue. This is a good place to treat family and friends, especially for those with discerning taste in food, location and ambiance.

Choices! Casino buffet with over 200 hot & cold menu items including an omelet station and assorted desserts. -Lobster Buffet - Tues and Thurs night - very popular. Starts @4p. Come early to avoid Disneyland like wait times. Prime Rib - good. Canadian Lobsters - good ... Don't forget too sign up for a New Member Card, to receive 20% OFF Lunch Buffet · Regular Buffet Pricing... Yes there was plenty of choices but I feel there wasn't any good seasoning, the food tasted better plain too me. I did notice they had a great selection of desserts! That was heaven for me. The crab was very good, and I'm not much of a shellfish person. Everything else was really average. It's an 'OK' buffet. All the beef was overcooked. Great selection though, it's too bad the food wasn't better. They don't serve alcohol - if you want a drink with dinner, you can pay cash to a server and they will go get it. If you don't have cash you have to get it from the bar.

Impressed with this buffet! This is not your ordinary buffet. This is probably one of the best buffets in San Diego County. We stayed here on a staycation and we were lucky to stay when they had lobster night. If you sign up as a new member for a card, then you get 20% off. You get additional discounts if you are a high roller. We arrived 5 mins to 9pm (when they close), and we were able to get in. Be sure you keep in mind that around 945p, the staff comes around to let you know that the buffet closes at 10p so eat fast. Since our main priority was lobster, we were full by 930p. I tried everything lobster, and everything was delicious. I was also able to wait in line for the pasta man to make me ravioli with lobster sauce. He was awesome and kept the line moving. You can special request your pasta and he was super friendly when you spoke with him. In fact, every person I encountered at the buffet was really nice and helpful. The food was impressive. Everything was fresh and good. I was so stuffed for dessert, but we did get halo halo that we ordered before the dessert bar closed. You can take it out, but we decided to just eat it before we left the buffet. This place gets packed, but if you go at the right time, you can easier maneuver the buffet and the crowds.
